Petrina graduated from Georgia State Universitywith a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Real Estate and Finance. She moved to NYC after graduation and worked on Wall Street for seven years. After moving back to the Lehigh Valley, she went to work with her father as a general contractor on small office building projects. She presently owns, leases and manages two medical office parks and a large apartment complex. Petrina’s family has been involved in Real Estate all of their lives.
Petrina is also an equestrian, and has been riding horses since she was 8 years old, although she took an 18 year hiatus from horses while raising her daughter and working in NYC. She now lives in the Lehigh Valley with her two retired horses, one young Lusitano, two dogs, and two cats. Her daughter is also now attending Villanova University.
Now, at Cindy Stys Equestrian & Country Properties, Ltd., she has the privilege of marrying her life’s passion of horses with real estate.
Petrina is also a lifelong animal advocate, and was the founding member of No Nonsense Neutering, Inc. here in the Lehigh Valley. NNN has spayed and neutered tens of thousands of cats and dogs at low cost to help eliminate the homeless pet problem in the Lehigh Valley. Presently, she is a new volunteer at the Equi-librium Therapeutic Horse Program in Nazareth, PA and is actively working hard at training her new Lusitano to be the perfect dressage horse.
Having spent years in Europe and Manhattan, Dieter came to realize that rural life in eastern Pennsylvania was what suited him best and has made it his goal to help others appreciate the region his immigrant parents adopted decades ago. He’s found it offers the best of both worlds – quality country living and easy access to his network of associates in New York. Before being an active realtor, he worked in public relations for high-profile clients in the entertainment and healthcare industries and, prior to that, was involved in many aspects of the restaurant business. His career experiences fostered an astute sensitivity to the needs of people with diverse backgrounds and lifestyles. He and his wife own an early nineteenth-century farmhouse in Monroe County and fill their spare time with landscaping and restoration.
Dieter is an avid animal lover and volunteershis time and support to several animal rescue organizations. He has great enthusiasm for horses and the equestrian community. He also believes strongly in the conservation of Pennsylvania’s natural beauty and vast open space and so has focused his real estate career on the marketing and sale of larger properties. He enjoys working for a more specialized real estate company because it enables him to dedicate more time to his clients.
Dieter is an active member of the National Association of Realtors and the Pennsylvania Association of Realtors.
